Why Be a Spotlight

Your organization exists because the brain tumor community needed something that wasn't there yet. The Rewired Minds podcast reaches patients, survivors, caregivers, family members, and friends who are actively looking for what you provide.
A spotlight episode isn't an interview or a promotional spot. It's a conversation about your origin, your impact, and where you're headed. Listeners walk away knowing you exist, knowing how to find you, and knowing how to get involved.
What to Expect
The process is straightforward and designed to respect your time.

It starts with an interest form. Once you submit it, I'll review your information and reach out if it seems like a good fit for an upcoming spotlight.

From there, the person who will be joining the recording will receive a self-paced intake that covers everything they need to feel comfortable and ready. After that, we'll schedule the recording session, which is an unscripted conversation that moves through your organization's history, where you are today, and where you're headed.

Not sure who should represent your organization? Check out the common questions below for guidance, and reach out before submitting your interest form if you still have questions.
Common Questions
Who should represent our organization?
Ideally, someone who can speak to why the organization was founded, what it's doing today, and where it's headed. That tends to be someone in leadership, but title matters less than familiarity with the full arc of the organization's story. The one thing to avoid is splitting that role between multiple people. One voice makes for a cleaner, more impactful conversation for listeners.

How long does the process take?
Your part of the process can move quickly, sometimes in as little as two weeks. The timeline to publication is longer because spotlight episodes are woven into a weekly release cycle at a set frequency.

What will you ask during the recording session?
There are no scripted questions. The conversation follows a general framework covering your organization's history, where you are today, and your future vision, but I'll follow your lead and ask questions based on what you share. The goal is a natural conversation, rather than a rehearsed one.

Is this recorded live?
No. The episode goes through an editing process before it's published. What you hear in the final episode is a polished version of our conversation.
